Located to the east of the Palermo neighbourhood, and adjacent to La Recoleta neighbourhood, Palermo Chico is home to Buenos Aires's high society. There are many mansions and luxurious residences, some of which have been converted into museums. The Museo Nacional de Arte Decorativo, for example, occupies an early-20C palace with a neo-Classical façade. The Museo de Arte Latinoamericano de Buenos Aires, another of the district's gems, is dedicated to Latin American art of the 20C.
