The main street in the Víziváros district runs parallel to the Danube. At n° 7, the French Institute opened in 1992. On the other side of the street, a small Baroque house is home to a French restaurant, the "Pavillon de Paris". At n°s 30 and 32 the former Capuchin convent precedes Corvin tér, a square lined with Baroque houses (n°s 2 to 5) and the Redoute of Buda, a neo-Classical theatre where the Hungarian Folklore Ensemble has its home. Further along, note the neo-Gothic Calvinist church.
