Designated a national park in 2000, this 33,000-acre recreational area traces 22mi of the crooked Cuyahoga River along the east side of I-77 between Cleveland and Akron. Within the park's boundaries, you'll find several visitor centers, a host of historic structures, the 20mi Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath for hiking and biking, and 60ft-high Brandywine Falls.
