The Michelin Guide's review
This French church (Französischer Dom) dating from 1705 bears witness to the influence of the French Protestant community in Berlin. The dome was added in the late 18C during work carried out on the square by Karl von Gontard. The figure which strikes the bell symbolises the Triumph of Religion. Inside the church, the Huguenot Museum traces the history of French emigration to the Brandenburg area.
