The museum of the Goulandris Foundation opened at the end of 2019, showcasing the treasures of modern and contemporary art collected by Basil and Elise Goulandris. These wealthy patrons were friends of masters such as Picasso and Chagall, whose portrait of Elise is on display in the foyer.
